I wanted to do something in my career that was challenging and interesting and made a difference to lives of the people. I chose to become a “Nurse” as according to me Nursing, is by far the most dignified career choice related to healthcare. For me, a ‘NURSE’ is, “A special person, who is more precious than gold”. Which means. 
N = noble and willing to share
U = understanding that she really cares
R = reliable from the start
S = sincere, with a loving heart
E = energetic forever
I chose SHT’s Institute of Nursing and Paramedical Science for achieving my goal. It is the best institute as they provide comprehensive knowledge about nursing, whether it be in theory or clinical experience. The institute has well equipped labs and library. We were given good exposure through Community Health posting in the villages and Psychiatric posting. The faculty of this institute is also really devoted and knowledgeable. I would say the most heartening and inspirational thing about my learning experience at SHT’s Institute of Nursing and Paramedical science as a nursing student, was seeing the critically ill patients getting cured and living a healthy life out of the hospital. It gives enough opportunity to every student to shine in their chosen nursing career. I am really lucky and proud to have been a part of this Institution.
